​The ESIL certificate is available on site at the University of Colorado Denver campus and remotely (on an individual by individual basis) to undergraduate, graduate, and post-baccaulaureate students interested in careers as environmental tribal liaisons working for or with tribal and US federal and state agencies (and others).  The ESIL certificate offers a combination of training opportunites through coursework, workshops, and internships emphaszing knowledge and skillsets needed by liaisons for effective relationship building, communication, facilitation, Indigenous knowledge and cultural learning (as appropriate), and data analysis and STEM application to environmental disciplines.
